International traineeships

Xplanation Language Services offers a number of four to six-month traineeships in its headquarters in Belgium, as well as in its other branches. Traineeships can be tailored to focus on particular aspects of the work performed within the industry, including project management, translation, revision, terminology work, DTP quality control, and so on. Each trainee works closely together with an experienced member of Xplanation's Operations department.

What is your profile?

• You are a student
• Your mother tongue is preferably Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Romanian or Swedish
• You study languages with English as your main language, with French or German as second language
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office, as well as with the Internet (basic knowledge of CAT-tools and project management is a plus)
• You are a sociable person and you like to work in a team
• You are motivated, eager to learn, cope well with stress and are comfortable working in a professional environment with strict deadlines

Where can you perform the traineeship?

We take trainees in our technical and EU translation teams and possibly in our banking team in Belgium, as well as offering one traineeship in each of our branches in Denmark, France, Sweden and Switzerland.
