At this meeting you can find out what the standard says, how the standard is used and how to ensure translation quality. Sara Gangelhof, Branch Manager at Xplanation Denmark, will present our certification, how to get certified, how it is used and what effect it has had on the translation services. The presentation is followed by a discussion on advantages and disadvantages of EN 15038.

The European standard for translation services, EN 15038, was approved by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) in 2006 and was created in collaboration between a number of translation organisations, trade organisations, educational institutions etc. Xplanation was certified in accordance with the standard in 2008.
