Technology backbone supporting growth and quality
Xplanation began as a translation service provider in 2001 in Leuven, Belgium, even though our language technology dates back to a spin-off from Siemens’ Linguistic R&D center in 1993.
Since then, Xplanation has come a long way, with substantial growth for the past few years founded on the development of Tstream®, our translation management system. Tstream® provides translation tools and interfaces for managing ordering and tracking, terminology, content management connections and translation memories.
In July 2008, Xplanation was certified according to the EN 15038 quality standard, emphasising our commitment to providing translation services of a high quality.
During the first quarter of 2011, Xplanation acquired the translation division of the Fototext AB, a Swedish printing company located in Göteborg.
2011 also represents another milestone in our history as we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary.
