  • Paris, November 7, 2011. Sebastien Robin, our Sales Manager in France, joined the “Creme de la Creme” of Paris and Canada at the conference-lunch organised by the France-Canada Chamber of Commerce, with guest speaker, Roland Lescure, Premier VP and Investment Chief of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

  • Lille, November 15. Following his attendance at a lunch organised by AmCham to gather local businesses around the theme of US investment in the region Nord-Pas-de-Calais (NPC), Sébastien Robin, our Sales Manager in France, is raising questions on the possible reasons of a lack of such investment.

  • On September 30, 2011, Sébastien Robin, Xplanation’s Sales Manager in France, attended an event of the CNET in Paris. The CNET is the professional body representing the translation industry in France.

  • Branch Manager Sara Gangelhof from Xplanation Denmark participated in the international OPTIMALE workshop in Ghent, Belgium on 16 September 2011 as a representative from the translation professions. At the workshop, she gave a presentation on the competences that a translation company is looking for when hiring internal translators as well as working with freelance translators.

  • On 17 May 2011, Sara Gangelhof, Branch Manager at Xplanation Denmark, gave a presentation on the challenges relating to the proofreading of companies' translated documentation and how Xplanation manages these challenges at the Language Technology Forum, held at the University of Copenhagen.

  • Branch Manager Sara Gangelhof from Xplanation Denmark gave a presentation on the European standard EN 15038 for translation services at this year’s Communication and Language Forum, Thursday 24 September. Xplanation also had their own stand at the forum at Copenhagen Business School.
