The EN 15038 standard was approved by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and is to replace all national translation standards. The certification process is similar to ISO 9001 auditing in that it covers the entire process, from initial request for quotation to final feedback after delivery, but it is entirely focused on the translation industry, also focusing on the inherent quality of translation.
